CARRIE UNDERWOOD wore a sparkling blue short dress to the “American Idol” finale show held at the Nokia Theater in LA on Wednesday night.

Carrie returned to the “American Idol” grand finale show as a supporter of this season’s finalists in a sequined Badgely Mischka long-sleeved dress that fell way above her kneesâ€"a big leap from her princess gown by Oscar de la Renta at the Billboard Music Awards last week.

The leggy country songstress, who herself rose to prominence after winning “American Idol” back in 2005, dazzled in her blue orion sequin orbit sheath, which she matched with silver Jimmy Choo strappy heels and a silver clutch. She accessorized with Royal Asscher jewelry and her pro hockey player husband, Mike Fisher.

Carrie went with her signature curls, heavy smoky eyes and glossy natural pink lips.

Definitely Carrie‘s most daring dress lately, and she pulls it off quite nicely despite of it hiding all of her curves, thanks to her long tanned legs that were out in plain view.
