Style Police: Celebrity fashion offences - heraldsun.com.au

WELCOME to Style Police, a weekly look at celebs who have crossed the line in the fashion stakes.

Model mum Elle Macpherson goes from sexy to scary skinny, Lindsay Lohan keeps it together in a boring black gown and Ivanka Trump knocks us out in a hot beaded number.

Scroll down to vote, and have your say on who committed the biggest fashion offence.

Uber hot one minute; scary skinny the next. Elle Macpherson sexed it up at the White House gala in a stunning architectural slit-to-the-thigh  Romona Keveza gown with risque tumbling blonde bed hair. But the Herve Leger bandage dress and tux jacket just sent The Body skeletal. Where are the curves?

Now we've seen it all. A tuxedo jumpsuit. It looks like Tilda Swinton is wearing a giant nappy under that thing. Somewhat of a style maverick, the Scottish actress lives up to her rep with this ivory tailored onesie by posh Parisian fashion house, Celine.

Wild claims that Li-Lo was the belle of the ball in this boring black halter at the A-list White House Correspondent's bash but oh how we beg to differ. There is only one shining star named Angelina baby, and you can never be it. Zoom in for a closer look at the red lipstick - it's a hoot.

Angelica Celaya - model, actress, hostess ... heck these Latin girls can do EVERYTHING. Shredded loincloth, cavewoman style, sewn on to an ice dancer suit. Comical get-up.

Too much yellow for anyone. Sure, it's the colour of the moment, but it's not an all-over kinda thing. American TV reporter Norah O'Donnell is in mighty fine shape (check out the backlessness of this frock) but we're just not feeling the love for the spangled canary.

Our first thought was what's uber WAG Rebecca Judd doing at the Latin Music gongs. Roaming a bit far from home, isn't she. But then we realised it was a frilly frock copycat. We also reckon that while Bec would wear  Venezualan beauty Carolina Tejera's dunny doll shimmering dress, she wouldn't go with the headband.

Amazing really what you can run up out of a pair of net curtains. Mexican singer, model, hostess, actress and businesswoman Paulina Rubio adds craft queen to her resume with this violet vomit-comet accessorised for the colour clash enthusiasts with bright red belt and shoes.

The Law & Order ching-ching is ringing in our heads, but it's definitely the textured electric blue satin that's making us  whoozy. Actress Tamara Tuney dons one of the most matronly chunked-up evening gowns we've ever clapped eyes on.

WE LOVE ...

Hunger Games hottie Elizabeth Banks is oozing sensuality in this radiantly red Antonio Berardi strapless peplum gown. Of course a spot of gold Bulgari bling never hurt.

Things could've worked out sooo differently for the entrepreneur, reality TV star and Maid of Manhattan, what with a dad like Don (all that hair and bluster) and a mum like Ivana (all that hair and sparkle). But we reckon Ivanka Trump's turned out just fine in this knockout beaded Naeem Khan gown with fabulous up-do and jewels. Those legs ...
