Affordable and transformable fashions from Rachael Ray - Examiner

On today’s Rachael Ray Show, the host joined by celebrity stylist, Annabel Tollman, fashioned two lucky audience members on a budget of $80. Tollman created four fashion-looks for women using two outfits and transformed them from day to night and weekday to weekend.

The first style created from Rachael Ray's guest cost $45.90 and included a blue Lycra tank dress, a cropped black jacket, floral pencil skirt and black pumps perfect for a day in the office. The outfit was transformed to eveningwear by simply removing the pencil skirt and adding decorative costume jewelry and a black makeup bag temping as a chic clutch.

Annabel Tollman's second look went from weekday to weekend using a large men’s button-down shirt cinched at the waist with a vintage belt, skinny jeans and flats for $37.  Remove the jeans, add a piece of jewelry and wear a ribbon instead of the belt and the style easily transformed for a weekend romp.

The jewelry and bag were not part of the budget nor was the ribbon used for the second piece, however, Rachael and Tollman suggested to either utilize old holiday ribbons, or purchase new from a local craft store. The belt and pumps were found in thrift stores. All new fashions and sales items selected for the segment on the Rachael Ray Show can be found at Forever 21, locally on Long Island in Garden City at the Roosevelt Field Mall, in Hicksville at the Broadway Mall and in Valley Stream at the Green Acres Mall.
