Burlington ON -  As the warm weather approaches and thoughts of spring cleaning give way to a review of your fair-weather wardrobe and make-up, Deepa Berar, local celebrity Make-up & Fashion Stylist and Blogger kicks off her Spring Re-Awakening Series for Spring 2012.  While her own Philosophy has always been grounded in the belief that her work as a make-up artist should be focused on enhancing your natural beauty rather than masking it, Deepa’s new blog and youtube series will look at the reawakening of colour, bold colours, in this season’s colour palate.
“We have seen the emergence of color blocking as a trend in fashion for the past year, and if you have seen any of the 2012 spring/summer runway shows, you will know that this trend isn’t going away any time soon†states Deepa in Part One of her series, “Not only will we see it in the clothes that people wear but we will also see it in the ma keup tooâ€.
So which colour, or colours, does Deepa say will dominate the Spring 2012 palate?  Does she think the season’s hottest colors be a bold yellow, the 70’s-inspired peacock blue or the re-emerging teen favorite hot bubblegum pink?  And how do you re-create your wardrobe so you’re an eye-piece and not an eye-sore?
In her latest Blog, she examines those trends and keeps you up-to-date on how to make it all work, without all the work. Â Regardless of your taste, her best advice is not to be so afraid of color this spring. Â She wants women to emerge from their cocoons, get out of their comfort zone and experiment a little. But most of all, Deepa wants women to get back to having fun with their makeup!
